HHMI Summer Research Experience
The HHMI summer research experience will be offered from June 2, 2014 through July 25, 2014. The research projects offered for 2014 will be selected to emphasize the use of quantitative and statistical tools in current life science-related research. The research projects will be hosted and mentored by Purdue University faculty from biology, biochemistry, statistics, and biomedical engineering. In addition to the placement and immersion into an undergraduate research experience, there will be weekly quantitative training sessions and lunches to help foster a community of learning. The students will receive a $3600 stipend for participating in the program. Applications will be available soon.
HHMI Teacher-Scientist Program
The Teacher-Scientist Program will run from July 28, 2014 through August 1, 2014 for high school AP Biology teachers. The program will offer authentic lab experiences in cutting-edge molecular biology, experimental design, and t-test with graphic analysis. Please stay tuned for the application coming soon.
