Faculty Learning Communities
Faculty Development – Faculty Learning Community – James Forney
Our goal two is to promote the introduction of appropriate pedagogical and modern methods of instruction for experimental design and quantitative analysis in the undergraduate classrooms in life science by providing professional development for faculty and post-doctoral students. We will use the proven mechanism of Faculty Learning Committees (FLC) to support faculty and increase interactive classroom techniques (Cox, 2004; Romano et al., 2004) and will include postdoctoral fellow as part of their training for faculty positions.
